It can be a tricky endeavour finding a suitably elegant yet informal place when dining with little ones, and there are few such places in Dubai where you can enjoy a great family-friendly meal. La Serre has made an effort to ensure that families are always welcome and entertained guests at the Boulangerie.
There are a number of activities available at the bistro to keep kids entertained, from a fun game of pétanque on the terrace to crayons and drawing materials from cool online gallery, Drawdeck, allowing them to get creative for several hours.
Why not treat your little ones to something authentic and prepared from scratch, like the pain aux figues (fig bread) or if they’re expecially good, a sweet deauvillaise pastry? Honest French cooking goes hand-in-hand with families gathering to eat together at the table.
La Serre’s efforts to be a haven for families have not gone unnoticed. A growing number of bloggers, including Dubai Our Sandbox and Dubai blogger, Tuesday’s Child, have popped in to the Boulangerie recently – Tuesday’s Child had this to say:
“La Serre’s boulangerie is a charming little café, with a mega view of the Burj. It’s a special little piece of Downtown and I’d recommend it for mummy-kid dates, brunch with girlfriends, romantic lunches or people watching on the Boulevard.”
With a focus on sourcing the freshest ingredients combined with a warm welcome to children of all ages, means delicious dishes all ’round – with a little fun thrown into the mix.
