La Serre recently hosted acclaimed Financial Times food critic and author of the new book “The Art of the Restaurateur”, Nicolas Lander. Nicolas was visiting as part of the Dubai Food Festival, and stopped by to visit the bistro and offer his thoughts on a few selections from our menu.

He singled out one of our most popular dishes – the tarte flambée – as a particular standout. He also tasted our fine tranches de saumon mariné and the beautiful gâteau au fromage blanc, both of which he praised, commending their fresh and delicate flavours.
